I almost forgot you are also going to need a charge controller. Basically a charge controller is a regulator tell the solar panels how much energy to send to each battery If a battery is over charged it can reduce the life of the battery.
For many years I wanted to build my own solar panels I just never knew how to get started. At around $200.00 a panel for free green energy why would yo not build a solar panel or even better build three.
How to build a solar panel although very easy to do is something that eludes most people , I have often thought about building them for other people or just teaching them how to do it themselves that is one of the reasons I am writing this article. Another great source of supplies is yard sales and military surplus stores to even reduce costs more.
